Faculty of 1000
Faculty of 1000 (F1000) identifies and evaluates the most important articles in biology and medical research publications. Articles are selected by a peer-nominated global 'Faculty' of the world's leading scientists and clinicians who then rate them and explain their importance. From the numerical ratings awarded, we have created a unique system for quantifying the importance of individual articles and, from these article ratings, journals. Both articles and journals can then be ranked overall and, importantly, at the subject, or Faculty, level.Launched in 2002, F1000 was conceived as a collaboration of 1000 international Faculty Members. The name stuck even though the remit of the service continues to grow and the Faculty now numbers more than 10,000 experts worldwide. Their evaluations form a fully searchable database containing more than 100,000 records and identifying the best research available.
Faculty Members and their evaluations are organized into over 40 Faculties (subjects), which are further subdivided into over 300 Sections.On average, 1500 new evaluations are published each month; this corresponds to approximately 2% of all published articles in the biological and medical sciences.

הוא המאגר הביבליוגרפי הגדול ביותר עם 18,500 (שמונה עשרה אלף חמש מאות) כתבי עת מוערכים (peer reviewed),
425 כתבי עת מסחריים, 325 סדרות, 250 פרוסידינגס של כנסים.

ב-2 ליוני 2011 הודיעה ההוצאה לאור NAP על שיחרור כ-4000 ספרים בכל תחומי המדע להורדה כ-PDF.

WASHINGTON ― As of today all PDF versions of books published by the National Academies Press will be downloadable to anyone free of charge. This includes a current catalog of more than 4,000 books plus future reports produced by the Press. The mission of the National Academies Press (NAP) — publisher for the National Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Engineering, Institute of Medicine, and National Research Council — is to disseminate the institutions' content as widely as possible while maintaining financial sustainability. To that end, NAP began offering free content online in 1994. Before today’s announcement, all PDFs were free to download in developing countries, and 65 percent of them were available for free to any user.

המאגר AGRIS הוא מאגר חינם של FAO בנושא חקלאות, עם דגש על חקלאות של ארצות מתפתחות. מכיל רשומות מ-1975 ועד היום.

ISI מציעה למנויי ISI Web of Science – את EndNote Web – שהיא גרסה מצומצמת של תוכנת EndNote השולחנית (לבניית וניהול ספרייה אישית של רשומות ביבליוגרפיות). סביבת העבודה של תוכנת EndNote Web היא ה Web -והרשומות הביבליוגרפיות נשמרות בחשבון אישי ברשת.                                                                                                  אמנם אין ל- EndNote Web את כל האופציות שמאפשרת EndNote , אך האופציות הבסיסיות והעיקריות של ארגון ועריכת הרשומות, ויצירת רשימות ספרות בפורמטים שונים קיימות. הכלי חופשי לסגל ולסטודנטים – כדאי לנסות. למידע נוסף לחץ כאן.

CIRET הוא מאגר מידע חינם באינטרנט, בנושאי תיירות. יש גישה אליו מאתר הספריה, מאגרי מידע לפי סדר אלפבתי או לפי נושאים.

הספריה רכשה מנוי ל-CAB eBooks . זאת רשימה של כ-200 ספרים אלקטרוניים משנת 2005 עד 2009 של המו"ל CAB INTERNATIONAL. ספרים אלה ממופתחים במאגר CAB Abstracts לרמה של פרקים. ניתן להגיע לטקסט המלא של הספרים, דרך תוכנת SFX לניהול כתבי עת וספרים אלקטרוניים. לרשימת הספרים ניתן להגיע דרך הכתובת הרשומה למעלה, או דרך אתר הספריה, ספרים אלקטרוניים, חבילות של האוניברסיטה. כרגע הספרים אינם מופיעים בקטלוג הממוחשב.
